C++ What is thought...
Sometimes astonishing thoughts enter my mind, for instance thinking about the phrase "Saying what someone thinks".

C++ Should I?
This is the first posting after a long time. Unexpectedly some people noticed that I haven't written much (meaning: nothing) over the last year. So, I think it's a good idea to sumarize my activities and also to discuss some of my approach.

It's been a while since I updated the site. But for the new year I resolve to continue my activities. So for the beginning I added 2 new links to the Books section.

C++ Versus?
It's been this morning in the underground.... I stood there, trying to look "somewhere". In this moment I started thinking about what I would have to do today. And instantly the fact hit my mind that I am currently doing something really nice. I am writing a program in Java. To be more precise: I am writing a set of Eclipse plug-ins. And while thinking about it another thought came to my mind: Only some weeks ago I was dealing exclusively with C++.

C++ Further down the road...
In one of my last news positings the question arose for me what is the "big thing" after C++. Actually the question was wrong, or at least I asked it in a too little scope. The better question is "Object orientation and then?"

C++ Reconsidering C++/CLI
After my last post I have been trying to get a hand on C++/CLI, again. It doesn't work for me....

C++ C++ and then...
Its astonishing. More than 2 years ago I started digging deeper into C++. The journey was long and I didn't know where it would lead me. I looked at a number of books and an even greater number of links on the internet and I never came to the point where found myself saying: Done. Well, I'm still not at this point, but there's one thing clear to me now....

C++ 4nt1 V3nd0r
In the end the decision is quite simple. And it's not a matter of managed vs. unmanaged. It's more a matter of whether I am going to commit myself to the technologies provided by one certain vendor or not.

C++ Native or not - That's the question!
This week has been a week with a whole lot of work. And all that despite the fact that today is the last day of my two weeks lasting vacation. Actually, I thought that I could bring the project, a friend of mine and me are currently working on to a new point, but that's something I wasn't granted.

General Changes in the projects section
I don't know how to start. The cause for this posting is somewhat bad and somehow good at the same time. A more or less dramatic change happend to the project section. All projects that could be found there are now history. Therefore something new came up.

C++ First Results
Well, it's been a long time for me since I found the opportunity to write some lines. But that's now over. While more or less away I thought about some template related problems which I want to come up with a solution for. At least I think I found a way to deal with these problems a bit more elegently. In addition I took my time to start my first serious template coding affords.

Now that I have had some time to get used to the needs and habbits of templates and STL containers I feel like not everything is as nice as it seems to be from the far distance....

Since I've been seeking a long time to find a place I can lay my thoughts on software development and other interesting stuff down, but never found the appropriate platform for doing this, I decided to launch an own site.
